Priority Tasks help the bookkeeping team highlight the most important items that need special attention. A star (π) next to a taskβs name indicates that itβs marked as a priority.
Users have the ability to mark any task as priority, but we recommend using this for tasks with significant consequences if missed (such as tax filings or payroll deadlines).
Marking priority tasks
To mark a task as priority, simply hover over the task name and click the star (π) icon.
Filtering the task list
Filter for priority tasks on the Task List and create saved views in order to stay on top of the most important deadlines for the team.
Emails on priority tasks
Every weekday morning, Double will send out an email with the following info:
Priority tasks
All other tasks due today, this week, or overdue
Admins will receive an email with a list of their team's Priority tasks as well.
