Assigning to roles on the month-end close

Close Assignees (Preparer/Reviewer/Manager)

Close Assignees help manage and track which users are responsible for each client’s close.

There are three default roles that can be assigned per client: Preparer, Reviewer, and Manager.

  • Preparer – responsible for completing the initial bookkeeping work

  • Reviewer – reviews the preparer’s work and may deliver financials

  • Manager – ultimately accountable for the client’s close

You can enable any combination of these roles based on your team’s workflow.
