Shared folder in Emails

Quick and efficient team collaboration via @ tagging in email comments!

The Shared folder in the Inbox tab helps the team collaborate more effectively by giving a quick access to all email threads that have been shared by others.

  • Emails that other team members have shared with you via @ tagging

  • Threads that need your visibility or input

  • Conversations relevant to your clients, even if you weren’t originally on the thread

This ensures that nothing important slips through the cracks, especially when teammates loop you in for context or hand off a conversation.

Users must have a personal inbox connected in order to see the shared folder.


How it works

  • When a team member shares an email thread with you via an @tag comment, it will automatically appear in your Shared folder.

  • Emails in this folder are read-only unless you're a participant on the thread. However, the shared user can still comment internally and create tasks from the email.


Use cases

Here are some common scenarios where the Shared folder is useful:

  • A coworker wants your input on a client request and shares the thread with you

  • You're covering for someone on leave and need visibility into their conversations
