Branches

Branches allow firms to divide a single practice into multiple independent segments.

  • For example, if you have several offices with distinct clients and users, you can create separate Branches to keep each group organized.

The Super Admin has full visibility across all branches, including all clients, users, and contacts.

All branches share the same Practice Settings and Templates, but each branch maintains its own Client List and Users.

Keeping the firm's books separate

Branches provide an effective way to keep a firm’s internal books separate from client work.

To do this, create a dedicated Branch that includes only the firm’s books, and assign all other clients and users to a separate Branch.

Because Super Admins have access to all branches, they can still view the firm’s books, while other users (including Admin users) will not see them in their accounts.

Example branch setup to keep the firm books separate 👇

Branch A

  • Client list: Firm books only

  • Users: Super admin only

Branch B

  • Client list: All other clients (firm books will not show up)

  • Users: Super admin & all other users
