Client Portal Announcement

A Client Portal announcement is a way to leave a note on your Client Portal that all clients can see when they log in. You can choose to add an announcement to the Client Portal and to the client's login screen.

For example, you might want to tell your clients to let you know if they open a new bank or credit card account, or you may want to give them a heads up if they should expect delays.


Setting up client portal announcements

Announcements are a practice-level setting, so only admins have access to this feature.

To enable a client portal announcement

  1. Go to Practice Settings (βš™οΈ icon) > Client Portal

  2. Click "Client portal announcement"

  3. Check "Turn on announcement"

    1. "Turn on client login page announcement" shows the message on the portal sign in page

    2. "Turn on Client Portal announcement" shows the message within the portal after sign in

    3. "Archived Client Portal experience announcement" shows a message in any archived client portals (More on archiving)

Within the portal, client portal announcements appear on the Dashboard like this:

Archived client portal contacts will still be able to log in to their portal, but they will only be able to view and download files.
