Locking Tasks

Prevent changes to task configuration by standard users.

Locking tasks will prevent standard users from making the following changes:

  • Adding new task sections

  • Deleting or reordering task sections

  • Deleting tasks

  • Editing task details (name, description, subtasks, assignees, and due dates)

Standard users WILL still be able to perform the following actions:

  • Changing task status/marking tasks as completed

  • Creating new tasks

πŸ’‘ Your practice's Admins and Super Admins will still be able to make all changes.

This feature can only be enabled in Practice Settings.


Locking tasks

In order to enable or disable task lock,

  • Go to Practice Settings > Practice Management

  • Select the Workflows tab

  • Scroll down to Global settings

  • Toggle "Lock standard users" on/off
