Take a tour of the User Settings, unique settings tailored to each user's account in Double.

User Settings

User Settings allow bookkeepers to customize their user preferences in one location.

The User Settings are accessible from any Double page. Find your settings by clicking the bubble at the top right of your screen.


Account

  • Upload/remove a photo

  • Edit name

  • Edit email address (used when logging in)

  • Edit phone number (used when MFA is enabled for SMS verification codes)

  • Enable/disable 2FA (used when signing in)

  • AI powered smart replies (smart replies when drafting emails)

  • Control what hitting enter on your keyboard means:

    • Enter = send the message

    • Enter = start a new line


Notifications

General

  • Batch related sign-off requests into one email

  • Emails about comments, assigned tasks, and sign-offs

  • Daily task digest emails

Client questions

  • Add or remove client activity from your email notifications (Digest notification emails) subscriptions

  • Enable instant notifications (receive an email immediately when a client you subscribe to answers a question)

  • Control undo send cancellation period

Client list

Fast client list

  • Default (Safari only)

  • Always on

  • Always off

Fast client list settings default the client list to show a streamlined column view to avoid any loading issues. The default setting is recommended for any users that utilize Double in a Safari browser.

Fast client list will show the client name, close assignees (when enabled), close period, and close status.
