The "Resources" feature adds a dedicated tab to the Client Portal where important notes, guidance, and reference materials can be shared with clients for ongoing access.
Commonly, client portal resources are things like:
A link to the client's Google Drive folder
A link to an IRS resource (e.g., the IRS' W9 form)
Your firm's instructional "how to" docs
The client's static vendor request link
Enabling Resources
To enable resources:
Go to Practice Settings (⚙️ icon)
Click Client Portal Settings
Click Resources
Toggle ON Resources Tab Visible
With resources enabled, all client portal contacts can access the information in this tab from the portal.
Adding, editing, and managing resource lists
To edit the content in a client’s Resources tab, open the client’s Close, navigate to Portal Settings, and select Resources.
