Any management reports (sometimes referred to as client financials) can be published to the client portal, allowing client contacts to access all of their information in one easy-to-use location.

Publishing financial reports to the Client Portal
To add a report to the client portal...
Go to the Reporting tab on the client's close page
Click the Publish button
Make selections as needed, and then select Publish
This adds the Double report to the client portal.
Published reports
Users: Accessing published reports
Users can access all published reports in 2 locations:
Navigate to the client's Reporting tab > Published
Under the client's Files > Auto-organized folder > Financial reports
Reporting tab > Published
Files > Auto-organized folder > Financial reports

Clients: Accessing published reports
Client portal contacts can access can access published reports when:
They have been given financials access (See here for contact permissions)
Navigating to the client portal > Financials tab
Navigating to the client portal > Files tab > Financial Reports

Note: Client contacts with ONLY financial access & NO files access will only see the "Financial Reports" folder under the Files tab.
Uploading custom reports to the client portal
Occasionally bookkeepers will prefer to use a different tool to create their management reports outside of Double's platform. Publishing custom reports is also supported (pdf format required).
To publish a custom management report to the portal:
Select Publish
Click "Upload custom report"
Choose Publish
Note: At this time, Double only supports publishing one report to the portal per close period.
Interactive financials
Publish interactive reports in the Client Portal alongside the PDF report package.
Publish the following interactive reports:
Profit and Loss - with vendor/payee level drill-down
Balance Sheet - with vendor/payee level drill-down
Metrics Visuals

Financial access
Make sure to enable "Financials" access under Portal Settings for each contact that needs access to published financials; alternatively, leaving this box unchecked will prevent contacts from accessing them. (See here for contact permissions)
